The aim of the system is to monitor in “real-time” via Internet selected plant and environmental conditions in the field and irrigate it when it is necessary. The system by exploiting a wireless sensor/actuator network, can provide multiple benefits both in terms of crop yield and in terms of better management and protection of natural resources.
